December!!!

The first snow fall has come and winter is here! Does that make you happy or sad?  I always really enjoy the first snow fall but by the 5th, 10th, 15th snow fall well I'm ready for spring!  But the white snow is beautiful and I think it is such a great illustration by God to us.

The bare dead ground is covered in white untouched pure snow.  It is just what Christ's blood has done for us.  We once were dead in our sins but through the blood of Christ that was sacrificed we are now white, pure, new creations.  We will become fully those new creations in heaven!  What a great gift and snow is a reminder of that!  So next time you see snow and before you think just how cold it is, stop and remember what snow shows us.  Thank God for the gift of being made new through Christ!

Some Upcoming Dates in December:

December 18th = May possibly be a service day for EPIC to help in our communities.  Seeing what kind of commitment we would have to do such a thing.  I really would like to give back to the communities who do so much for us!

Dec 21st = EPIC CHRISTMAS PARTY

• Methodist Church
• ALL GRADES (6th to 12th)
• 6:30pm to 8:30pm
• Transportation is provided from Lytton to RC and back.  Please meet at the Lytton Lutheran Church at 6pm to go over.
• Meal: Games: Skit: LOTS OF FUN all included

Dec 28th = NO EPIC - HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Don't forget on Dec 18th are the Christmas Programs.  RC Methodist and Lytton churches are at 10:30am and the RC Lutheran Church is that night!
